30 Days To A Face
Starting today, I'll draw a portrait every day for 30 days. I've had this idea for a while and since I drew a self portrait earlier tonight, why not start today? There are no restrictions on medium, size or form, the only condition is that a human head has to be visible somewhere on the paper or canvas.
The drawing above is today's portrait. It's done in charcoal using a mirror. I'm pretty happy with the shadows, the hair and the eyes but the nose is too long and the mouth too narrow. I'll try to keep this in mind doing the next one tomorrow.
Doing this for a month will hopefully let me keep the momentum from the course I'm doing this week going. Expect a lot more portrait posts in the coming weeks!
