Carving With Käthe
I was in Cologne last weekend to take a woodcut course with Marie-Luise Salden. The course took place at the Käthe Kollwitz museum so I was expecting there to be some interaction with her art but pretty much the only instruction that was given was "cut something that is personally meaningful to you".

It felt very freeing just being able to carve something without thinking about filming it or making it fit into some bigger plan. I think I need to set time aside to just have fun again and play with linoleum or plywood.

I also learned some useful new techniques and got to try some cool tools. Overall a great time!
