I'm writing this post on 30 January but since I'm planning to use this painting as a birthday present, I'm scheduling this post to be published later in March. This is a painting I started last Watercolour Wednesday. I made the two studies below: one quick one to experiment with the composition and one to experiment with colours.

I like this painting a lot. I got to use some of my favourite colours and I like how playful it feels. The only thing I don't like so much is how it looks like the cathedral floats in space. I've considered adding a shadow but I'm afraid of messing it up.
