Drawing At Home
Lately, I've been feeling guilty about not doing more drawing outside of the classes I attend. It's something I want to do, and when I do get around to it, it's always fun, but I often find it difficult to get started. Especially urban sketching is something I haven't done much of lately, partly out of embarrassment of people looking at my sketches.
I've been extremely busy at work this month and it has been very nice to have Monday evenings at life drawing and Saturday mornings at the London Fine Art Studios. While I do want to build my own practice once things free up again and start experimenting on my own, I'm also planning to sign up to three or perhaps even four classes next term. Having a fixed schedule and structure around drawing and painting and not having to rely on willpower or motivation to make time for creativity is nice to have in times this busy.
