Mum & Me

Today's instalment of 30 days to a face comes to us from three-year-old Jan (thanks, mum, for holding on to it!) It's a drawing of my mother and me.

The imitation above was made tonight, 28 years later. I still have some more practicing to do before my compositional skills can match his, though. I say this only half-jokingly. There's something about the fearlessness and spontaneity of children's drawings that I aspire to.
