Tulips & Pumas

I bought a Da Vinci Casaneo No. 8 travel brush at a nearby art shop where it was on offer the other day. It's a lot more fun painting with a real brush. The sizes jump from 6 to 8 by quite a bit and I wasn't sure if the 8 would be too large for my small 9 x 14 cm sketchbook.

I've been experimenting with building up layers of watercolor to make my sketches look less flat.

Finally, some more tree experiments. I've been obsessed with drawing trees lately, watch out for a future post with my favourite trees in the neighbourhood.
