Two Trees
I'm a big fan of Nina Johansson's art. I especially like the somewhat cartoonish look and the vibrant colors. These two trees were drawn after looking at how she draws trees in her sketches. I've been learning how to mix greens from blues and yellows lately and wanted to try my hand at some real foilage.
I still don't fully understand how the different blues and yellows create different greens, what causes a mix to be more brown and dull or what makes it more warm or cool.
